A 'pre-talkies' short of the naughty dog,. One of 40 films; created and directed by pioneering Welsh animator, Sid Griffiths, thought lost. An original live orchestral score performed by members of the BBC National Orchestra Of Wales, and shown on the BBC as part of the series Shining Lights & performed live to picture as part of The Swansea Festival in 2012. Commissioned by Paul Islwyn Thomas.
The music mimics the role of the cinema pianist, and uses 'Mickeymousing' scoring techniques, inluenced by 1920's popular music styles, to blur the lines between melodic underscore and sound effects to underpin another Jerry adventure!

Orchestral cue taken from a pivotal scene in the feature film One Of The Hollywood Ten; a true story about the life of film director Herbert Biberman, directed by Karl Francis.

Young Dracula – Incidental Clip
A story about the film director Herbert Biberman's struggle with McCarthyism, he was 'One Of The Hollywood Ten', along with Dalton Trumbo, who appears in a recent film about hits era.
This scene Herbert begins to see the results of not co-operation, and is frozen out of Hollywood, and the score has a low brooding percussive use use of 'prepared piano' sounds to imply the constant brooding precence of the FBI, interferring with his life, alongside more tradtionally scored string orchestra, piano, and soprano saxophone.
